Biological / living Computational-Information Architecture is the research pillar exploring computation in living and embodied systems. It is under remediation — we teach toward it, never as settled doctrine. Read the honesty layer before anything else.
A field that cannot state its own limits is not a field yet. BCIA states them first, loudly, and in public.

What BCIA is not
It is not a claim that biology beats silicon today, not human-cell research, and not a marketing story. The DishBrain-vs-DeepMind "28,800×" style like-for-like efficiency claim is banned as a category error.

⚖ The Charter
The human-cell exclusion is absolute.
No part of MetaX research uses, models, or advocates the use of human neural cells or human-derived neural tissue for computation. This exclusion is non-negotiable and applies across every pillar, series and academy.

The Limits module
Before any capability is taught, the lesson states what the approach cannot do, where the evidence is thin, and which claims are contested. Limits come first, not as a footnote.
The Bridge lesson
Each module connects back to the Ascent rung it depends on, so no BCIA idea floats free of its substrate and mathematics.
